Baile charme dance samples cut from 10-second originals
One solo clip and one duo clip were cut from 10-second Seedance 2.0 Fast originals made from original portraits, plus one party-flyer still.
All people are original generated adults. The two clips are Lovart ME cuts of clips made for this trend with Seedance 2.0 Fast from a designed still and a four-beat prompt, not from a step video; the cards show the real portraits and stills behind each one and what moves in the original. Nothing here was made with the workbench above.

Make the baile charme dance from one photo in three steps
Upload a full or three-quarter body photo, design the night-crowd still and check your face, then animate the four beats into a vertical clip.
Pick a photo with room to move
One person, face large and sharp, and as much of the body as you have: full or three-quarter length gives the arms and legs room for the steps.
Design the night-crowd still
Front of the crowd runs Image to Image and puts you, full body, at the front of a packed night party, as if a friend held the phone. Check the face; if it is off, rebuild the still before you animate.
Animate the four beats
Animate it uses the still as the first frame with the four-beat motion prompt: Seedance 2.5, 10 seconds by default, with the credits on the button.
Guide the baile charme dance with your own step video
Film five to ten seconds of yourself doing the side steps, lean and turn, add it as the reference video with your photo, and the clip follows your timing.

The result
Diagram only: the samples above were not made with a step video, so no result clip is shown here.
Film the steps on your phone
Phone upright, full body in frame from head to feet, plain background, good light. Do one groove, one lean and one turn in five to ten seconds; Seedance 2.5 accepts a step video of up to 30 seconds and 200 MB.
Add photo and step video
In the Charme tab, upload your photo, open Your step video and add the clip. The slot works with Seedance 2.5 (the default) and Seedance 2.0 Mini; with another model the tab tells you to switch. Press Animate my photo.
Why not the original clip
The Seu Zé clip and the dancer it copies belong to their creators. Your own steps are free to use, and the clip will move the way you actually dance.
Open the Two Photos tab, put yourself in Photo 1 and your friend in Photo 2, keep the viaduct preset, and you dance side by side in one clip.
Photo 1 · leftPhoto 2 · right→StartEnd
Who goes in which photo
Photo 1 stands on the left and Photo 2 on the right for the whole clip. Use one person per photo, each face large and sharp, ideally both in similar light.
The viaduct preset
Duo under the viaduct lights puts you both full body at the front of a Saturday-night charme party under a concrete viaduct, then runs the steps in sync, a lean together and a half turn toward each other. It uses the same two-photo workbench as Zombie Couple, with Seedance 2.5 and sound in one step.
Write the moves as four beats: glance back at the phone, side steps with bouncing shoulders, lean and slide the hands, then turn back to the camera.
Frames come from the Front of the crowd sample; each card pairs the move with the line of the motion prompt behind it. Start the prompt with “Use the photo as the first frame. One continuous handheld phone shot with slight natural shake, the phone held by a friend in the crowd.” and keep it to one groove, one lean and one turn in about 10 seconds.
Beat 1: the glance back

Beat 2: steps and shoulders

Beat 3: lean and slide

Beat 4: the turn
A side step and a turn back to the camera.

Seu Zé and the real party behind the baile charme dance
Seu Zé is an AI grandpa posted by @seuzerj on October 16, 2026; the Pedra do Sal crowd and the dancer he copies are real, and charme is Rio's R&B party dance, not baile funk.
The source post
@seuzerj on TikTok, October 16, 2026: a 27-second, one-take handheld clip of Seu Zé de Madureira, an AI-made grandpa in round glasses and a red shirt, dancing charme at the front of a packed night crowd. 139,400 plays on October 26.
An AI grandpa in a real square
Pedra do Sal is a real square in Rio’s Saúde neighborhood. The real dancer Zenegão filmed himself leading that crowd in August 2026; the AI versions copy the opening of his take.
Charme versus baile funk
Charme began in early-1980s Rio with smooth R&B and love songs, danced in synchronized group steps (passinhos); DJ Corello is credited with the name. Baile funk took the fast Miami-bass beats. The best-known baile charme runs on Saturday nights under the Madureira viaduct, Rio cultural heritage since 2013.
The song people ask about
TikTok labels the sound “som original - seuzerj”. Trend pages name the party track as Nelly Furtado’s “Say It Right”; CapCut reposts often carry “Ice Ice Baby”.

Can I use a video of my own steps as the motion guide?
Yes. In the Charme tab, keep Seedance 2.5 (or switch to Seedance 2.0 Mini), open Your step video and add a short phone clip of you doing the four beats. Your photo sets the look; the clip sets the moves.
Can I use the original Seu Zé clip as the reference video?
Use footage you filmed yourself or have rights to. The steps are simple: a friend can film you doing them in a minute, and the timing will match how you move.
Where is the baile charme party in real life?
The trend clip is set at Pedra do Sal, a real square in Rio’s Saúde neighborhood. Rio’s best-known baile charme runs on Saturday nights under the Madureira viaduct, Viaduto Negrão de Lima.
Is baile charme the same as baile funk?
No. Both grew out of Rio’s 1970s black music parties. Charme kept the smooth R&B and love songs and danced them in group steps; baile funk took the fast Miami-bass beats.
Where do the sample clips on this page come from?
They are remixes of Seedance 2.0 Fast clips made for this trend on October 26, 2026: re-cut, reframed and color graded, with no new AI generation. Each card shows the original portraits and the still behind it. None of them used a reference video.
